Brendan J. MacKay, MD, became a doctor of medicine from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate education at The University of Notre Dame. Dr. MacKay did his internship and served his residency in orthopedic surgery at The New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York, New York. Furthermore, he is fellowship trained in hand, microvascular, and peripheral nerve surgery at The Hand Center of San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas, where he studied under a renowned hand surgeon. He is board eligible for certification with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and keeps up-to-date in the latest advancements, guidelines, and procedures in the orthopedic surgery arena through several memberships and affiliations with professional societies and organizations, such as the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. As a result of his outstanding performance in the field of orthopedic surgery, particularly hand surgery, The International Association of HealthCare Professionals (IAHCP) has selected Brendan J.
